At the School of Journalism & Media Studies, we recognize that preparing our students to be career-ready means more than just providing classroom experiences. That is why we use San Diego as a living laboratory for our students to go out into and intern for a wide range of companies and organizations, thereby gaining valuable training and skills that will help prepare them not only to find a job when they graduate, but to thrive in it. With the increasing shift to remote work, this has furthered opened the door for our students to work virtually for companies literally all over the world.
