Julissa Muro

Bio

Julissa Muro will graduate from San Diego State University with a degree in public relations in May 2023.

Julissa earned a spot as a part of the competitive Broom Student Fellows program in the Glen M. Broom Center for Professional Development in Public Relations. The program invests in future professionals who have grit and push the status quo.

She is the messaging lead for the public relations team for the Glen M. Broom Center for Professional Development in Public Relations. As messaging lead, she is taking charge of planning and executing the messaging, publicity and graphics for the campaign.

She interns at Chrome City Creative, a creative agency in San Diego. She started this internship in January 2022 and has continued to grow in her role. During her time at Chrome City, she has gained experience in social media management, content creation, design and project management.

Julissa was raised in Temecula, California. She looks forward to developing and pursuing a creative career in either sports or hospitality, in Southern California.
