Bio
Vivian Gomez will graduate from San Diego State University with a degree in public relations in May 2026.
Vivian earned a spot as a part of the competitive Broom Student Fellows program in the Glen M. Broom Center for Professional Development in Public Relations. The program invests in future professionals who have grit and push the status quo.
She is currently a staff reporter for The Daily Aztec. She specializes in crafting news stories, as well as video and copy editing.
She has interned at Young Progressives Initiative, a national nonprofit, in fall 2025. During her time at Young Progressives Initiative, she has gained experience in social media management, content creation and project management.
Vivian was raised in West Covina, California. She aspires to begin a career in government and public sector communication in Southern California.
