Maggie Shoya

Bio

Maggie Shoya is the Office Manager for the School of Journalism and Media Studies. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration (Information Systems) from San Diego State University and her M.A. in Learning Design and Technology from San Diego State University.

For the past 20 years, she has held various positions, beginning with her employment at SDSU Enrollment Services and the Research Foundation in 2003. In 2004, she worked for The School of Communication before transitioning to the School of JMS in 2007.

In addition to her other roles, she volunteered on various committees, such as the SDSU Staff Awards Committee, Explore SDSU Open House, and the Student Research Symposium. Her considerable contributions to student success were acknowledged when Joanrae Miller received the Quest for the Best Award in 2006.
