Gissel Villalpando

Gissel is passionate about SEO and Content strategy and ultimately chose her career path because she saw a major gap between SEO professionals and content creators. She kicked off her SEO career at Experian as an SEO Content Specialist. She spent over two years at Experian spearheading their SEO-content strategy, building their domain authority, expanding their SEO efforts into different verticals and ultimately educating consumers about credit and personal finance through well-optimized articles. Since SEO is 50% dependent on content, Gissel hopes to inspire other journalism majors to pursue a career in SEO. Gissel is currently the Content SEO Specialist at Slickdeals, where she is expanding her skills into new industries.
