Ms. Melanie Kartalija




Melanie Kartalija is a lecturer in the School of Journalism and Media Studies at San Diego State University where she teaches advertising research. Kartalija graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.S. in Marketing, both from San Diego State University. After her undergraduate degree she began her career with Beach International Advertising. Upon leaving the agency, she worked for Santel Federal Credit Union as a Product Development Specialist. Following graduation from the Master's program at San Diego State University, Kartalija went to work in the television industry as Research Director for KGTV in San Diego, then KNBC in Los Angeles, and most recently KFMB in San Diego. Her television research included news, sales and promotion research. Kartalija has presented research at both national and international television research conferences.
