Jillian Kopp

Bio

Jillian Kopp was on the spring 2020 public relations team for the Glen M. Broom Center for Professional Development in Public Relations. Her main role consisted of supporting logistics and research efforts. The team won a Public Relations Society of America San Diego/Imperial Counties Edward L. Bernays Mark of Excellence Award for their campaign. She graduated from San Diego State University's School of Journalism & Media Studies with a degree in public relations and minor in communication.

Previously, Jillian worked under award winning public relations professionals at Lee and London where she absolutely fell in love with the industry. Jillian also helped create a new internship program for her school’s journalism department.

She currently works as a social media and web assistant for SDSU. For this position, she manages all the messaging and social media platforms for SDSU admissions, updates flagship web pages and sends out a majority of the email messages students receive from the school.

Now that she's graduated, Jillian plans on staying in the San Diego area and pursuing a career in public relations.
