JMS Students Win Big at SPJ Awards

JMS Students Win Big at SPJ Awards Students and May 2015 graduates from the School of Journalism & Media Studies won numerous awards July 29 from the San Diego Society of Professional Journalists. In a major coup, journalism seniors Megan Wood and Quinn Owen won first place competing against local professional journalists in the video news special category, for a piece they did as college juniors for The Daily Aztec, Demonstrators Demand Assistance for Underprivileged Students.
