John M. Eger
Mr. Eger is the Lionel Van Deerlin Endowed Chair of Communication and Public Policy in the School of Journalism & Media Studies at San Diego State University. He worked as a senior vice president for CBS, served as an adviser to Presidents Nixon and Ford, was director of the White House Office of Telecommunications Policy, and was legal adviser to the Federal Communications Commission.

Barbara Mueller, Ph.D.
Dr. Mueller is a professor in the School of Journalism & Media Studies. She holds a Ph.D. in communications from the University of Washington. The Journal of Advertising has ranked her as one of the top three contributors to international advertising research globally based on total number of publications in major advertising, marketing and international business journals.

Bey-Ling Sha, Ph.D.
Dr. Sha is an assistant professor in the School of Journalism & Media Studies. She holds a Ph.D. in mass communication studies from the University of Maryland at College Park. Previously, she taught at the University of Maryland, the American University of Paris, and the Institute for Experiential Learning in Washington, D.C. She joined the faculty at San Diego State University in 2004.
