Undergraduate Help Center

The undergraduate help center features information to help students planning to enter a JMS pre-major, advancing to a JMS major, and/or applying for graduation. Students may also download JMS checklists for their major catalog year, read answers to FAQs, and access the JMS Undergraduate Advising Center hours of operation.

The graduate help center features information about completing core coursework, advancing to candidacy, and step-by-step instructions for completing a masters thesis or comprehensive exams.

The School of Journalism & Media Studies Undergraduate Advising Center is designed to help you with questions or concerns related to your major or minor within the School of Journalism & Media Studies.

JMS Undergraduate Advising Center

Kiosk

In Spring 2007, the School of Journalism & Media Studies will introduce a touch screen advising kiosk to the lobby of the School's main office. The advising kiosk is designed to help students with individualized advising needs including class registration, advancing into a JMS major, declaring a JMS pre-major and much much more, quickly and effectively. Keep an eye our for the kiosk on the third floor of the PSFA building, directly across from the undergraduate advising center.
