Journalism students may take this class only if they have completed the following courses, with a C or better: JMS 420 and one of the following three courses: JMS 315, JMS 430, or JMS 445. If you have completed these prerequisites and the computer will still not let you register, please call JMS Advising Coordinator Lanie Lockwood at 594-2521. Don't worry: If your catalog year requires JMS 550 and you have met the prerequisites, you are guaranteed a seat in the classes. (Please do not call the Registrar's Office. Advertising majors: JMS 461 and JMS 560 require completion of JMS 310W and JMS 460 with grades of C or better. The computer will not let you register for JMS 461 and JMS 560 if you have not fulfilled these prerequisites. IMC majors: You will be admitted to JMS 461 and JMS 560 only on a space-available basis beginning the first day of classes. Please take a copy of your transcript, which shows completion of JMS 460 and entrance to the IMC major, to the first class meeting and talk to your instructor.
